I love my mom. I would love to give her something special that includes a card, pictures of the kids, quotes from her favorite books and any other mementos I have captured the last few years. I plan on using some of my instagram photos. So to integrate all of this, I will work on my first shadowbox! I’ve had one, sitting in my room, emp-ty for I don’t know how many years! Is time I use it. In the mean time, I created a digital card (gasp!) that I’ll print out and include in the shadow box. This should be quite a nice exercise to work on a composite of real things, rather than a PSD file… So here is my first attempt for her greeting card!
I used a chevron pattern in the background and two free fantastic fonts: “Villa Didot” and “Pacifico”. The birdie is a beautiful illustration clip art I bought today.
